I never thought I’d ever hear myself saying this, but I am very impressed with Burger King….

After a craving for a chicken burger led me to the biggest dissapointment ever at KFC (yup, can you believe it - the “king” of chicken places - and their chicken burgers in Taiwan don’t even use breasts!) - someone suggested I try out the Burger King “Chicken Sandwich” - OMG - it was amazing …. so 10 points to the King

Went to Danshui last weekend - a thrilling (yeah right) hour ride on a scooter in the freezing cold (all the while knowing, even when we finally got there - we had the same thing back again). (As you can see from the Wiki) - It’s a seaside town, geared towards “tourists” - with loads of food stalls and carnival style games (shooting, hoops etc) - along with the largest concentration of basketball games I’ve ever seen.

We went to a smallish cafe down the end of the seafront which reminded me like being at home, I’m not sure why, the place had a very english cafe style feel to it. The food was also rather tasty, so that was most definitely a bonus.

Speaking of good food - you’ll never believe what I found yesterday … a chicken pie shop!!! Amazing! Proper puff pastry stylee and at a bargain price of 45p.

So yes, Taiwan is treating me very well for eating - a 12″ subway sandwich for lunch, crisps and large drink (all at a mere £2.70) - with dinner being anything I want - seriously, they have every type of food here - with a full 3 course meal in a proper restaurant never costing me more than £7.50!

Tickets also confirmed now - I can even check in online (and choose my exact seat!) - never been able to do that before, though now if I can’t pick the exit row seat, who do I try and sweet talk to upgrade it for me?

As for the rest of what I’ve been up to - I’m at the moment writing a summary of the last year (which is obviously taking a while) - but so as not to get behind again, will keep updating the latest stuff as it happens. I’m also wondering whether to post little bits as I think of them, or just wait until the end of day to do it all in one …. we’ll see.

Anyhoo …. tonight I’m going to the mini-movie theatre (MTV) so will get some photos to show everyone, as I don’t quite seem to be able to describe it accurately yet.

i know, i know, i ain’t posted for a while (fri i think, but the date showed as sat) so its a whole weekend to report on, hmmmm, will be quite difficult as my mind is fucked
Ok, well, as you know, Gowry is staying over, which means its kinda hard to get out of bed in the mornings…. afternoons…. etc etc :openmouth: but on sat we did eventually and go down cj to do relationship type things (not that! :P) and eat.

Hmmm, got home i think cause we had to go out meet everyone in wandsworth, but the fecking hot water would not come on, meaning it was getting later and later. like, had a little, erm, ‘discussion’ causing gow to go for a walk and by the time she had got back, although the water was on, it was too late. so we just watched tv and then went to bed.

Sunday had to get up for gowry to go look at cars with her mum, but she didn’t want to so stayed asleep, going to go out, but erm, fell into the staying in bed trap again.

When finally did get up, cheryl rang (or did i ring her?) to report on a shooting that had happened in wandsworth and that they had shut the roads! ah, nah, it was via msn, i rang later so we couldnt have gone anyway (neither would gowry have got home to do the car thing).

Had scrambled eggs on pasta for lunch, which i prepared whilst gow decided to practise her dj’ing which was obviously crap however, put it rite after lunch by spinning some pretty cool mixes even though it was r’n'b/garage ish
Speaking of which, the mixing is getting pretty good now, in fact sometimes its just blinding!

10 pieces of chicked from kfc for dinner, mmmmm, some of it is still in the fridge and then listened to blackadder for us to doze off
This morning, work and gows course, same story, got up at 3/4 ish she went home to get stuff, and i have been writting my billing system, its okish now, works just a bit bland
Oh, gotta go get tom at 7ish on firday for some important exam, hmmm, perhaps i need to do a workaround for that! hahahahaha
gow should be here in an hour, so i better be off to get ready, so long……

Ok, so it works and as far as i can tell it works with no problems, so i’m now free to GET ON WITH IT!

well, today, lazy day, went to mcd’s for lunch, got one of those new chicken tandori things as they ain’t got no tom or mayo on them! hurrah, and sat in the sun and ate it.

at work there was nothing to do, so i just ordered stuff off the net oh, and about a 10 line chat with bonnie (ha! i mentioned you!)

pretty crap at work actually, anyway, went to see cheryl and marc after work, watched tv, ate kfc (again, no sauce!) and generally chilled out, before leaving to come home and finish working on the rest of this.

TIRED TIRED TIRED! i am whacked, but i bet i can’t sleep, grrrrrrrr…. anyway, before i write too much boring crap, i’m gonna go.
